Stalker Themepark opens the Narva entrance
Exhibition will be launched regularly from May 2025. Until that is possible arrange group visits from 10 people upon request.
Stalker Themepark developments have reached one of Narva’s most important sites – Kreenholm Manufactory – where artworks by Leonardo Meigas, Raoul Kurvitz, Iris Müntel, Margus Kontus, Kadi Nool and DARKovSKY have been presented. Also on display is an object called “Hälo”.
In the former factory spaces and cotton warehouses of Kreenholm, Stalker Themepark creates a unique opportunity to exhibit contemporary Estonian art via intermediate use. This is especially so for large-scale works, which are often difficult to preserve and present in a dignified way elsewhere in Estonia.
The Narva Kreenholm exhibition, together with the recently opened Joaveski residency, is the next phase of Stalker Themepark, where the industrial heritage will become not only an exhibition space for art, but also a preservation site for postindustrial artefacts. In this way, workshops and residencies will also allow artists and students to create new artworks using reuse methods.
The opening of the entrance of Narva Kreenholm is the result of a fruitful cooperation with Narva Gate OÜ and Narva Art Residence NART. The project is supported by the Cultural Endowment of Estonia.
